Travel Solo
If there’s one thing I always recommend to everyone, it’s going on a solo trip. Trust me, I’ve done it countless times, and it’s always on my yearly bucket list. This year, make it all about you and your personal growth. Going on a solo trip is the best way to learn more about yourself. You’ll not only meet new friends you wouldn’t have met otherwise, but also learn to take care of yourself in different situations. You can nerd out on the things you love and visit all the destinations you’ve been dreaming of.
I know it can be scary to think about traveling alone. Believe it or not, I still get nervous even though I’ve traveled solo across the world many times. But that’s what makes it so special! Whether you decide to take a solo trip or just treat yourself to a fancy dinner or bar, this is your year. So don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with my solo travel guides to help inspire you. Go on an RV road trip
Let me tell you about one of my favorite ways to explore the world: renting an RV! It’s seriously an experience that you have to add to your bucket list. There’s nothing quite like hitting the open road with everything you need right there with you. Plus, there’s a real luxury to being able to camp in secluded places and wake up to stunning views.
After the last couple of years, I’ve learned to appreciate what’s nearby and to find adventure close to home. I’m based in Sweden, and Scandinavia has so many incredible campsites, with many places allowing free camping. But don’t worry, RV rentals are available all over the world, and there are options to suit every budget. If you’re new to RV travel, the USA and Australia are two RV-friendly countries that are perfect for beginners.
So no matter where you’re headed, find an RV that fits your style and hit the road to explore the great outdoors. Trust me, it’s an adventure you won’t forget!

Experience One of the World Wonders
Have you heard of the New Seven Wonders of the World? They are some of the most amazing and breathtaking sights you can experience on your travels. And the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is all about preserving and showcasing the world’s best destinations. So, if you’re looking for some travel inspiration, check out these incredible wonders!
I’ve been lucky enough to visit all of them except for Petra and Chichen Itza, and they are truly awe-inspiring.
Take the Train
There’s something about taking the train that makes traveling feel so accessible to me. It’s a great way to see a variety of scenery and cultures in a short amount of time.
If you’re feeling spontaneous, just make an itinerary and hop on a train to somewhere new. I’ll never forget spending seven days on the Trans-Siberian railway through Russia and China. And if you’re looking for a winter adventure, take a train far north from Tokyo to Niseko for some incredible skiing.
Not only is taking the train an amazing way to see the world, but it’s also better for the environment with fewer carbon emissions than flying. So, if you’re looking to add some adventure to your travels, consider hopping on a train and seeing where it takes you!
Chase the Northern Lights

While having traveled around Europe to see the Northern Lights, the first time I witnessed it was ironically in my backyard. While you need some luck to see the Northern Lights, making the attempt is so worth the trip.
