How to Get to Landsort

Landsort, at the southern tip of Stockholm's archipelago, is accessible year-round, offering a scenic journey whether by car or public transport.

Getting to Landsort by Car

If driving from Stockholm, take Road 73 (Nynäsvägen) towards Nynäshamn, exit towards Nynäshamn Norra, Herrhamra, and Torö. After about 20 kilometers, you'll reach Ankaruddens Brygga, where you can park for 60 SEK per day and board the Waxholmsbåt ferry to Landsort. The ferry runs year-round, with tickets available onboard.

Getting to Landsort by Public Transport

For public transport, take a commuter train from Stockholm to Nynäshamn, then transfer to Bus 852, which takes you to Ankaruddens Brygga. From there, the Waxholmsbåt ferry completes your journey to Landsort. The trip is easy, scenic, and sets the stage for a wonderful stay on the island.

Taking the Waxholmsbåt to Landsort

To reach Landsort, the Waxholmsbåt ferry is your gateway from Ankaruddens Brygga. This ferry service operates year-round, ensuring the island remains accessible in every season. The ride itself is a picturesque journey through the archipelago, offering stunning views as you approach the island.

Tickets for the ferry can be conveniently purchased onboard, either the SL app, with a card or an Access card. The current fare for a single adult ticket from Ankarudden to Landsort is 104 SEK (Taxa 3), for students it is 64 SEK and young children travel for free.
