Renting a car is highly recommended, not only for the freedom it offers to explore at your leisure but also because many of Esperance's beaches are best accessed by vehicle.

While I initially aimed for the Lucky Bay Campground in Cape Le Grand National Park, it’s essential to book ahead due to its popularity. Despite this minor setback, there are numerous other camping and accommodation options in and around Esperance that cater to a range of preferences and budgets, ensuring a comfortable stay amidst the natural beauty.

Summer (Dec-Feb): Perfect for beach lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, with mild, sunny days around 26°C ideal for fishing, camping, and coastal walks.
