Travel in Peru

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Peru is an absolute gem! I recently embarked on a four-day trek along the iconic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and it was an adventure of a lifetime. Checking off Machu Picchu from my bucket list was an incredible moment, and I can understand why it’s one of the Seven Wonders of the World. But that’s not all—my journey in Peru had so much more to offer!

One of the highlights was my thrilling experience of spending the night in the Skylodge Adventure Suites. Picture this: climbing up a mountain, suspended in a transparent capsule, and waking up to jaw-dropping panoramic views. It was an adrenaline rush like no other!

Peru is a treasure trove of cultural and natural wonders. From the enchanting Amazon rainforest to the mystifying Nazca Lines and the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain, this country has it all. And let’s not forget about Lima, the vibrant coastal city that perfectly blends modernity with rich history.

Whether you’re seeking archaeological marvels, outdoor adventures, or indulging in delicious Peruvian cuisine (ceviche, anyone?), Peru has something for everyone. It’s a diverse country with endless destinations waiting to be explored.

If conquering the legendary Inca Trail is on your bucket list, aim for the winter months between June and August. The weather is on your side, with dry conditions and warm days. It’s prime time to trek your way to Machu Picchu!

Calling all jungle lovers! For an unforgettable Amazon experience, mark your calendars from June to November. During this period, the rainfall takes a breather, so you can explore the lush rainforest without worrying about trail closures or shivering in the cold.

Now, let’s talk about budget-friendly adventures. If you’re looking to save some bucks, consider visiting during the wet season from December to March. Sure, there might be rainstorms, but hear me out—it’s the least expensive time to travel. Imagine this: fewer crowds, cheaper airfare, and more affordable accommodations. Embrace the rain and discover Peru’s top sights with a little extra adventure!

No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful.

Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain…
But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?
