Travel in Africa

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Africa is a world unlike any other! When most people think of the continent, they only think of the top tourist destinations like Morocco and South Africa. But let me tell you, there is so much more to explore! Each country has its own unique history and culture, and the natural beauty is truly breathtaking.

I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing some of Africa’s most unforgettable adventures. From climbing Kilimanjaro and swimming with whale sharks in Mafia island, to spending a night underwater and even adopting an elephant! I even got to kiss a giraffe and fly in a hot air balloon above the Serengeti during the great animal migration. But trust me when I say, I’ve only scratched the surface of what Africa has to offer. So what are you waiting for? There’s an adventure waiting for you on the African continent!

Africa is a world of adventure with so much to explore, from the vast landscapes to the diverse wildlife. Deciding when to go depends on your interests and what you’re looking to experience during your trip.

If you want to go on a safari, then it’s best to visit Africa during the dry season, which is from May to August. During this time, the animals gather around waterholes, making it easier to spot them. However, if you want to witness the famous animal migration, you may want to plan your visit during the rainy season. I was lucky enough to witness this spectacle myself and didn’t experience any rain. Plus, with the lack of rain, it was easier to spot the animals!

I’ve had the opportunity to explore some incredible safari destinations, including Kenya, Tanzania, but other incredible safari destinations are Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Trust me; you won’t be disappointed with any of them! Learn more about the best time to go on a safari in Africa and plan your adventure today.
