Looking for a perfect escape within the Stockholm area? Torpesand Strand at Björnö Nature Reserve on Ingarö is a true Scandinavian paradise, featuring stunning views and a rare light beige sandy beach. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, this accessible haven offers something for everyone. Join me as I explore the beauty and tranquility of Torpesand!
Located on the southeastern part of Ingarö, Björnö Nature Reserve is a hidden gem in the Stockholm archipelago. This beautiful reserve offers a variety of activities including hiking, paddling, and swimming. On hot summer days, it's the perfect place to relax and take a refreshing dip. With several swimming spots to choose from, whether you prefer rocky cliffs or sandy beaches, Björnö has something for everyone. If the beaches were lined with palm trees instead of pines, it would be considered a tropical paradise, but to me, it’s a Scandinavian paradise with its weathered old pines. It's my favorite swimming spot in Stockholm, aside from the small deserted islands in the archipelago.
