KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

Kenya is indeed a beautiful and diverse country that offers a range of experiences for travelers. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the most famous safari destinations in the world, where you can witness the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. The country is also home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and cheetahs.

Apart from wildlife safaris, Kenya has a rich cultural heritage that can be explored through visits to traditional Maasai villages, museums, and historical sites. The country also has stunning beaches, such as Diani Beach and Lamu Island, where you can relax and soak up the sun.

In addition, Kenya has a vibrant food scene that showcases the country’s diverse cultures and influences. You can try local delicacies like nyama choma (roasted meat), ugali (maize meal), and chapati (flatbread), as well as international cuisine in Nairobi and other cities.

To make the most out of your safari experience, plan your trip during the dry season, which runs from June to October. The bush is less dense, and wildlife gathers at the watering holes, making it easier for you to spot them in their natural habitat. Plus, you might just catch the Great Migration! Over a million wildebeest and other animals make their way across the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya. It’s truly a sight to behold.

If you’re on a budget, consider traveling during the wet season, from November to May. Although the weather may not be perfect, there are fewer tourists, and you’ll find plenty of discounts on flights, accommodation, and activities. Just keep in mind that some lodges may be closed due to the rain from March to May.
